Weekly Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement class starting November 10th at Yoga Space! 

The Feldenkrais method helps improve awareness and the quality of movement, balance and posture. It teaches you to explore and organize yourself more efficiently, and helps you learn to move with joy, ease and less pain.

Feldenkrais is taught in two ways: 1) with verbal guidance in a group class called Awareness through Movement, and 2) in hands-on individual lessons, called Functional Integration.

In this 6-week session, our instructor, Jutta Brettschneider, will offer group classes on the back, pelvis and on balance. Classes will begin on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, and go until Tuesday, December 22, 2015. (Please note: no classes on November 24.)

When: Tuesdays 6pm

Where: Yoga Space 4206 Gallatin Street, Hyattsville MD 20781

What to bring: a towel that can be a head pillow, your mat if you like to be on your own mat (there are mats in Yoga Space). Please wear comfortable clothes.

Fee: US $ 10 per class until the end of the 2015 Fall Session. You can also participate in this class as a make up for your regular yoga or Pilates class.

The instructor: Jutta Brettschneider MS, OTR/L and GCFP. 


Jutta has been practicing Feldenkrais in Europe since 1992, being fascinated by its gentleness and the profound changes that this approach offered to her physical and mental learning. During her 6 years stay in Israel she studied to become a Feldenkrais teacher. Since 2007 she has been working with individuals and teaching classes and workshops in the community.
